FAQ: Electric Fireplaces

Electric Fireplaces

How do electric fireplaces work?

Traditional electric fireplace models rely on rear reflector technology using simple LED lights, flat LCD screens that play videos, or even mist and vapour technology to mimic real flames, but these are limited in delivering the realism of wood fire flames.

Escea’s electric fireplaces are powered by holographic flame technology. When applied to electric fireplaces, this is then projected onto an angled piece of specialist beam splitter glass. The flame footage is meticulously edited to match the log placement beneath.

This advanced system produces the illusion of natural, dynamic flames and sparks rising directly from the logs, resulting in a detailed, depth-filled display that closely mimics the appearance of traditional wood fire flames burning.

What is Holographic Technology?

How much does a holographic electric fireplace cost?

Escea electric fireplaces range from $6,495 to $7,495 to purchase. There is a range of optional accessories you can also choose, designed for the inbuilt models for a full fireplace solution, from in-wall display niches to classic mantels, ledges and hearths.

Are electric fireplaces safe?

Electric fireplaces are safe to use. They do not produce emissions and do not require flues or vents.

Escea’s electric fireplaces feature cool-touch glass, making them safe for children and pets. With no direct flame there is no risk of burns, and the fires also have the benefit of a ‘flame only’ mode without any heat.
